Biography
Mr Khalid is a Moroccan singer based in Rabat. He sings in Darija and performs live at concerts, parties and events. He started out as Mc Khalid, with songs such as “Ghebti” and “Nensak”.
His music blends rap and R&B. His lyrics are mostly about love and heartbreak (“L9alb Lkhayn”, “Ch7al Nbghik”, “Hob Zmane”), but also about life far from home and family, with “3ayéch Ghrib” and “Walidik”, a song dedicated to parents.
His ten-track album opens with “M3akom Mr Khalid” and features rappers Capiston and Liams. In 2011 he released a track with Naim. In 2013 he put out the official video for “Hiya Lhob”. In 2015 Crikeur remixed “Zina w Msrara”. He also recorded “W 3lach” with Dina, produced by Nores.
